So ready for a new journal layout. I think I want to go back to Flexi Squares but I want something cleaner looking, like vivier's layout. I am willing to fiddle with colors and create my own header etc. I just like the nice clean look of her layout. *bats eyelashes* Someone help me? I don't know how to make it look like that... *pouts*

I loved the Flexible Squares layout, but just got bored w/ it! I'm not too happy w/ the one I just switched to, but I didn't like any others better, and don't have the time/patience to tweak it!

LJ layouts should not cause so much stress! ;)

well, vivier's layout is an s1 generator layout. there is a lot you can do with that kind, but i'd always recomment going with an s2 layout simply because sometime in the future lj will probably do away with all of s1.
right now i'm doing a smooth sailing layout and i've got to say it is wonderful. i had a flexible squares one previously and it was a bit buggy and a little bit harder to customize. smooth sailing has a ton of options right in the simple customize area, so even without knowing much s2 code or doing a custom layer you can do sooo much.

Yeah, I didn't realize she had changed it, it used to be a neat Flexi Squares Layout... I need to be able to play around with styles before settling on something... maybe this weekend.

Thanks for the input! and you're right about smooth sailing I like it quite a bit, but I like things a little boxier. Maybe I will go back to the Boxer layout...
