How the Buzz Index Works
A subject's buzz score is the percentage of Yahoo! users searching for that subject on a given day, multiplied by a constant to make the number easier to read. Weekly leaders are the subjects with the greatest average buzz score for a given week.

Yeah, being here at the University she was attending, the coverage has been crazy!

you go to the university she was attending? wow.

I can imagine the coverage would be insane.

On a odd note, i actually checked out the university online, being that i tend to do odd things like that, and its now become one of the places im thinking of transferring to in a year and a half. In spite of the bad security rap its getting, it does look like a good fit for me.

I actually work here. I got my BA in English here. VCU, like any urban institution has crime... it's a part of life, you deal with it and you move on. For what it is worth I don't feel unsafe here and I never have. I wouldn't go out at 3am by myself, but you know.

What major are you considering? We have a good art school and medical campus, other than that the education here is likely no better or worse than what you put into it.

English, political science, or pre-law.

I want to be a lawyer, eventually. According to my research, pre-law is more of an advisory program than a major. Most websites and people i've talked to say to go with english as a major, as its really a plus to any law school when they look at your transcripts.

So ill prolly end up going with english.

I'm looking at many different schools, i liked the fact that it was on the east coast and the fact that for me, the transfer requirements were well within my means.
