Heh heh

I had to chuckle, and couldn't help but think of rainpuddle13 when Jimmie Johnson dedicated his Daytona 500 victory to "all the haters" of his 48 team.

I was amused when Ryan Newman made a comment after the race about nobody even being sure if Jimmie's car was legal. *giggles*

Yeah his victory was totally tarnished, but I don't think that he really gives a flying flip...

No, probably not. And you had to feel bad for Ryan later in the night when they said that video put Casey Mears ahead of him when the caution came out.

So even if Jimmie's car *were* illegal, the victory would then go to Casey and not to Ryan. Bum deal!

The more and more I hear about Ryan Newman, the more I like him

I adore Ryan simply because he drives a Dodge. Manufacturer loyalty and all that.

Of course, that's not to say I adore ALL Dodge drivers. Take Kurt Busch for example. Him I'd like to throw through a window.

He's a cheater and you know it.

True though that may be, at least he didn't outright wreck people because he couldn't keep his emotions in check. Dude needs some Paxil for real...

(from NASCAR dot com)
Did Tony Stewart send too much time at Daytona?

Seemingly every other minute during his run to the title last year, we all were told that Stewart was able to keep his emotions in check because he would go home to Indiana each week, drive around in his hearse and hang out at the Dairy Queen. After Speedweeks -- and two consecutive weeks in Daytona -- we certainly saw the old Tony on Sunday in the 500.

He was beating, banging, wrecking, pushing TV cameras out of the way. It was like the champ had done a WWE-like heel turn and changed characters for the third time like The Undertaker. All that was missing was a chair shot and Vince McMahon screaming, "Why Smoke, Why?"

I couldn't help but wonder while watching that interview what happened to the Tony of last year. The teddy bear and went and got his fangs reattached or something.

Maybe he just needs a Midol *giggles*

Well, I don't dislike Tony at all, actually I used to like him a lot... but don't get up and bitch about the need for people to chill out before they kill people and encourage NASCAR to punish bad track behavior then go out and do the opposite of what you're advocating... it just made him look plain dumb or even worse like a jack@$$.
